Spring 2024 Week 12 april 30th - May 1st

“and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon, Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.” Luke 5:10-11 NKJV

enrichment Information

Housekeeping: This is your last chance to locate those misplaced items in the Lost and Found at Guest Services and to clean out your family folder.

Attention Teachers: If you are returning to teach the same class in the fall, you may keep your Emergency Lesson Plan in the pink bins over the summer. If you are not returning, please pick up your lesson plans this week.

Security Badges: High Country security badges can be used from semester to semester. You are welcome to store yours in your family folder over the summer break.

Fall registration: Everyone can request a registration appointment. The link can be found on our website in the black banner at the top. Registration volunteers do not need to request an appointment but will automatically receive an appointment time.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide you with a Registration appointment if you have an outstanding balance with us. If you have questions about your family statement, please email financemanager@hche.org.

Become a Teacher: We are excited about our Fall schedule of classes and can’t wait to share it with you. There are still some teaching time slots available. Please contact Kristin at classdirector@hche.org to get more information.

Interested in Volunteering in the Fall? If you would like to be part of our “army of volunteers” during the Fall 2024 semester, we will be scheduling interviews. You can still submit your application over the summer break. This includes Vital Partners and youth volunteers. It is our desire to help all who want to serve to be able to do so. Please contact Jamie at humanresources@hche.org if you have any questions.

Lunch Program: This week we will have root beer floats. Purchase one with your lunch to celebrate the end of the school year.

Library Update: Library books are due by Wednesday, May 1st.  If you check out a book, you should be receiving a reminder email.  We are missing 7 books that are not on the check-out sheet.  All HCHE books are stamped and numbered.  If you find one, please just drop in the return basket next week.

Needs for our library:

-- BOOK ENDS! The plain metal ones would work great.

-- Books for MIDDLE and HIGH school level.... fiction, worldview, nonfiction/biographies, travel, etc.

-- CURRICULUM, we would prefer full sets...student book, teacher book, test, answer keys, etc. which would be most helpful for families. Thank you! Contact Library@hche.org with questions.
