High Country Home Educators provides activities and events designed for our members and their families to connect with other homeschooling families. We offer a variety of activities and events for support and fellowship for our members, such as:
Mom’s Groups - Weekly mom’s groups meet at New Life Church during Enrichment Classes. Click here for more information on Mom’s Groups. We are here to help and support on your homeschooling journey.
Mentor Moms - These are moms who are finished or nearing the end of their homeschooling years and want to give back. Click here for more information about requesting or becoming a Mentor Mom.
Fellowship Opportunities - We offer park days at local parks (weather permitting), field trips, skating parties (roller and ice skating), teen activities, serving projects and more for your family to gather with other homeschooling families.
Our Signature Events - Our Fall Festival family fun event includes line dancing and raffle prizes. Our Junior & Senior Formal (our prom alternative) and a Senior Graduation Ceremony is held in the Spring.
Monthly Newsletter & Group Emails - Our newsletter and emails are packed full of information on homeschooling and upcoming events (August thru May).
Members Only Facebook Page - This includes members only content and updates. It’s also a great place to post your questions, connect with other members, buy, sell and give away your used curriculum and more!
Discounts - Discounted admission on field trips and other events.
HSLDA Discount - Every homeschooling family needs membership in the HSLDA (Homeschool Legal Defense Association) to protect your home school. Membership in High Country provides you with a discount on your HSLDA membership fees.

Annual Membership Fee:
$50 for all families
Membership is for the whole school year, including BOTH Fall and Spring Enrichment Class semesters. You do not have to join at the beginning of the Spring semester if you join earlier in the school year.
We take your HCHE Membership seriously. Only current members are able to take advantage of events. Registration Links for events are now only available on the Members Only Web Page, in the monthly newsletter, via email and on our Members Only Facebook Page.
