This semester has flown by quicker than usual. I hope you each had moments to lift one another up, make new friends, and learn new things. Thank you for being part of the High Country community! This community, where we are all striving to raise our children with God and rise above the world noise, is a special place. I look forward to many more semesters with you as we all keep our hearts and minds on the Lord and give all we can to raise our children well. We are excited to have our Spring handbook ready for you all and to see you back after the holidays. I hope you each get time to slow down and enjoy the precious moments with your family and friends. Have a very Merry Christmas!

Community is important to us at HCHE. We hope you get connected quickly and start building your community.

Mentor Moms Our mentor mom program is being revamped! Are you looking for encouragement in your homeschooling? Are you new to homeschooling and have questions? At High Country, as much as we desire to educate and encourage the students, we also desire to come alongside and help you grow in your motherhood journey. Our mentor mom program is being revamped, and we would love to have you join us. If you are looking for practical one on one support from another homeschool mom, please send an email mentormomsfacilitator@hche.org and we will put you on the list to receive more information.

Hand In Hand Ministry We Need Meal Train Volunteers! Our mission is to serve as the hands and feet of Christ by providing practical care—meals and friendship—to High Country families during difficult seasons. Hand in Hand volunteers receive occasional emails when a need arises, such as surgeries, births, or family emergencies. If you’re able to provide a meal at that time, you can simply sign up and drop it off for the family. Some volunteers also contribute by preparing freezer meals in advance or by giving gift cards through the meal train links.

Would you consider being part of this ministry? Email Janaya at Familycare@hche.org for more information.

Moms’ Group is a great way to meet other moms. If you have not signed up yet, and would like to, visit the Registration table during HC Enrichment classes to get enrolled.

Immerse Teens is a great way to get to know other teens. Students aged 13 to 18 years old, until graduated may participate. Register and get more information HERE.

Please email us at communitymanager@hche.org if you have any questions.
