Theater Study Space: On Wednesday, April 29, our quiet study space in the Theater will be moved to Room 243 from 11:00 AM -2:55 PM. New Life Church needs to set up the Theater for a special event. Our performances for that day will not be affected.

2025-26 Yearbooks: Our Yearbook Class has worked hard all year creating the High Country yearbook! Friday, May 1, is the last day to order the yearbook. You don’t want to miss out! The link to order is on our Members-Only page.

Mark your calendars! Beginning April 24th at 8 AM online registration appointment requests open in your family portal under the NEWS tab. Be sure to sign in early for the best appointment time.

Annual Trunk Sale: It is time to clean out your homeschool room and look for deals on next year’s curriculum. Our annual trunk sale is on Wednesday, May 20, from 9-11 AM. It is free for both buyers and sellers and is open to the whole homeschool community. Invite all your friends! Sign up to sell here!

Choir Class: We are looking for 2-3 adults with college vocal backgrounds to evaluate students in the choir class, Wednesday, April 29, from 12-1 PM. If you are interested in helping, contact Kimberly Douma at newwineworship@netzero.net

Free ACT Practice Test: Not sure if you should focus on ACT or SAT? Class 101 is sponsoring a FREE Community ACT Practice Test on April 26 at at 1 PM for all interested high school students in the area. Gain valuable insight into what an actual ACT test-taking environment is like and learn some of our valuable tips. Check it out here.

Library Reminder: We’re so glad you’ve enjoyed the library this semester! It’s been wonderful to see the books being put to good use. As we wrap up the semester, this is a friendly reminder that all borrowed books are due back by Wednesday, April 22nd and no later than April 29. Thank you for being part of the High Country community, and we hope you’ve discovered some great reads along the way!

HCHE GRADUATION CEREMONY is scheduled for May 15, 2026 and we need your help! As Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” Become a volunteer today!

HCCA has bi-monthly newsletter. With your enrollment, you should receive one in your email. The March/April newsletter has been posted on the website.

Standardized Testing: HCCA administers the Terra Nova for 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th-grade students. Testing will take place at New Life Church on May 5-6. If you missed the registration deadline, see our testing and evaluator information page HERE.

SECURITY BADGES: All High Country members, 11 years and up, are required to wear a badge while on campus. If you do not have a badge, or have lost yours, please make every effort to visit Guest Services this week to receive your badge.
