Lulu's Frozen Yogurt Fundraiser

Lulu's is back! The High Country Support Group will begin selling $5 Lulu's gift cards at Enrichment Classes beginning this week through the end of March to support our Junior & Senior Formal (they would make great Christmas gifts)! Stop by the Support Group table during Enrichment Classes on Tuesdays or Wednesdays to buy yours!

Operation Christmas Child Fulfillment Center Serving Project

Would you like to help prepare shoe box gifts for overseas shipment after National Collection Week? This December, High Country Support Group members will be working together at the Denver processing center preparing shoe boxes to be shipped. Sign up to volunteer at Operation Christmas Child's Fulfillment Center and be a part of sending Good News and Great Joy to children around the world!

2019 Fall Stampede (Hoedown)

Our annual Stampede event was postponed due to our classic Colorado weather event last week! But fear not, our new date is Thursday, November 7 from 5-8:30pm in the Tent (across from the playground).

The Fall Stampede is one of our Signature Events. We’ll have western line and square dancing, great raffle prizes and the biggest potluck dinner you’ve ever seen! This event is for the whole family (Support Group members only).

Claude Monet Exhibit at Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum will be showing the most comprehensive U.S. exhibition of Claude Monet paintings in more than two decades. The exhibition will feature more than 125 paintings spanning Monet’s entire career and will focus on the celebrated French impressionist artist’s enduring relationship with nature and his response to the varied and distinct places in which he worked.

This field trip will have an audio tour, a theater portion, and free time after the formal portion to look around the museum.

Hammond's Chocolate Factory Field Trip

The Hammond’s Candy Factory is a magical place where strips of brightly colored candy ribbon is stretched, molded, and shaped into all kinds of tasty treats. Are you curious about how it is done? Come and see for yourself! Walk the halls of this Denver legacy and live the history behind this national treasure. In the gift store, fill a bag with sweet treats to take home or save for Christmas. Who knows what goodies you may find! Please come join us for a delightful tour through the Hammond’s Candy Factory to see how beautiful candy is shaped into miniature edible art.

This will be a 30 minute tour. The tour is family friendly. You can bring strollers and wheel chairs. We will be walking through wide halls and looking through large windows into the factory. The tour will end in the candy shop with treats for purchase. CityServe "Hope & Home" Service Project

On October 5th, High Country Support Group members will have the opportunity to participate in CityServe, a one-day, city-wide event of Christians serving our community. We will serve together at Hope and Home where we will work on various cleaning, organizing and maintenance projects. Hope and Home trains and actively supports foster families all across the Front Range who feel compelled by Christ’s command to take care of “the least of these.” You can go here to see other projects that CityServe is having that day.

Fountain Creek Nature Center Field Trip

Support Group Members, come and join us for a fun morning at the Fountain Creek Nature Center! We will be studying Awesome Arthropods as we venture into the wetlands with nets to see what we can find! This field trip is focused on ages K-4th grade, but all are welcome. $7.25 per student (parents come FREE!). Siblings welcome, but children over 3 years old also need to pay to register. Immerse Back to School Park Day

7th-12th graders (13 and up) and their families are invited to join us at Fox Run Regional Park for the Immerse Teen Group Back to School Park Day! Bring a sack meal/snack, water bottles, folding chairs, blanket, sports equipment, etc. and meet us by the sand volleyball pit. This event is for members of Support Group. This is a great opportunity to visit with us, meet our leaders and other families, and decide if Immerse Teen Group is right for you! High Country Homeschool Trunk Sale

High Country Home Educators is hosting a homeschool curriculum trunk sale in the North parking lot of New Life Church (by the tent and the playground) from 10am to 12pm on the morning of Wednesday, August 14th.

Sellers: Anyone wanting to sell their used homeschool curriculum is welcome to attend. We ask that you please arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. with your books already in your trunk and ready to sell. Parking for sellers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. All sellers must be registered to participate. There is no cost to sell at this event. Click here for more information and to register to sell now!

Buyers: Please arrive between 10am and 12pm. There is no registration necessary to shop!
